Moyodei Girls Club Program


With a broad agenda for girls empowerment through relevant education and experience, we meet weekly to discuss, plan, and act.

Moyodei Computer Training Program


Youth from all over Morogoro receive free computer training at our office in Chamwino four afternoons per week, every week.

Moyodei Community Wellness Program


We provide recreational activities that act as healthy alternatives to the dangers that exist
in our community.

1St Annual MOYODEI Cup
“Play Hard! Live Healthy!”
Morogoro, your new sports tradition starts now. Using the power and popularity of sports to bring youth together and promote the importance of healthy living, MOYODEI proudly introduces the 1st Annual MOYODEI Cup. We visited eight wards around Morogoro to invite their local football and netball teams to Chamwino for a tournament format sporting event complete with prizes, entertainment, and promotion of our message: avoid the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse, and protect yourself from HIV/AIDS.

Each community must take care of its own. MOYODEI travelled to the ward of Kauzeni to join with the Tuhamasike Club women’s empowerment group to promote awareness and education in the struggle to:

– protect against HIV/AIDS
– avoid childhood marriage and pregnancy
– eliminate gender discrimination

Our Chamwino Girls Club stood shoulder to shoulder with our sisters of the Tuhamasike Club to promote our messages through poetry and song. A medical professional from ANGAZA was also on-hand to provide HIV/AIDS education and voluntary counseling and testing services.

Pillars of the Community
Shangwe!! (Celebrate!!) This was our day to shine for the entire community. Joining women from around the world, we proudly hosted a four-hour event to celebrate our achievements and highlight our struggles. In an open-air field in the middle of Chamwino, we brought the sound, the energy, and the message, with the goal to “Encourage Change to Bring Gender Equality”.
